Does anyone here actually watch this show?

I do sometimes but I have to shake my head at the behavior. Do you think it exagerated because the cameras are rolling? Are we just rewarding thoughtlessness and bad manners by having it on the air?

I've got to confess, I've never heard of it.

Well, basically it's a reality type show that follows brides to be over the last couple of days before the wedding. I know this can be a very stressful time but these women take it a bit too far, IMO.

It appears as though the producers deliberately choose women who have been terribly spoiled all their lives or who just have one heck of an attitude and follow them around. If anything doesn't go exactly to their liking, someone gets an earful! I even saw one bride threaten (on the day of the wedding) that if her father didn't shape up, he wouldn't be allowed to walk her down the aisle!

The thing that gets me is that no one calls them on their bad behavior and tells them that this is absolutely not appropriate, not matter what the circumstances. Maybe that just doesn't make for good TV; I don't know.

I've watched enough of it to think that some of those women need to be slapped.. Repeatedly.. I can't imagine marrying anyone that behaves the way these people do..

I hae to agree with you on this one. Although I wouldn't usually advocate using violence against anyone, they all need a good spanking.

The thing that gets me is that they always seem to find the nicest men to marry..and these guys don't seem to get that if she is behaving like this before the wedding, it's not going to get better afterwards.

I don't watch it. I think I saw something like this once, and it was crazy. Women get soooo revved up about every last detail being perfect.

It must be a big letdown for them the day after the wedding when the attention is no longer on them....

That's what I always think. People focus so much time and energy on the wedding, which is albeit, an important day. But what about the marriage? What kind of planning do we do for that?

Unfortunately, I've never seen the show, but you have me very curious now. I should check it out. I was probably the complete opposite of a bridezilla. I didn't want to spend time planning anything, so we went to Vegas instead.

You'll find that the guys involved either don't notice or don't think it's all that important that the bride-to-be to be are behaving like a complete bitch. Now, sometimes when planning anything, things do go wrong. But...you have a much greater chance of getting it resolved if you don't go Rambo all over someone.

Someone told me once that you can get anything you want, as long as you're polite. I took that advice to heart and it really does work. That doesn't mean that I'm not P.O.'d inside; it just means that I don't let it get in the way of resolving the issue.

And then you meet people like me that live to poke those types of zillas.. I get such a perverse thrill from watching them loose any semblence of control while I stand there and smile at them..

But then I'm evil..

I've never seen or heard of that show, but it sounds to me like many of the other shows on tv these days. The one that really blew me away was the wife-swapping show. I just couldn't imagine anyone wanting to do that. And some of those women were pretty crazy, too.
