DARKER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER!
Many people think the darker the color the better. Not true! Too dark or too pale is not the most desirable. A rich, medium-dark color is generally the most sought after and most valuable color. |

Hopefully, this addresses dark jewelry!
![]() Well, Dark Jewelry although rare, are in great demand. This includes Black Pearl, black diamonds etc. Black diamonds can be smoky, gray or purely black. Personally i prefer pure black jewelry! That color makes the jewelry look rich, pure and unique. |

I tend to go for rich, vivid colors myself although I'm starting to like some of the more pastel-color gemstones in my old age - citrine, peridot and the like. Never did care much for diamonds, although 'champagne' diamonds can be beautiful.
