Looking for that perfect Valentine’s Day gift? Have an extra $350,000 for it? This new brooch from the designers at Chopard may be just the ticket.
The brooch is created in Titanium and features stones from diamonds, spinel and a pink conch pearl at the heart of the flower. This will definitely make someone very happy.

I’ve always been a fan of large and different, and I think that this awesome black gold cuff from Yossi Harari fits that category very well. Actually made from 75% silver and 25% gold and then oxidized, it will certainly be a unique piece of jewelry that you won’t see just anywhere. And at just over $1,000 it won’t break the bank.
Anther great cuff is this stunner from Chevron Royale. The stardust bracelet is made from stainless steel mesh, silver and diamonds (.78ct tw). The whole thing is just cool. At $3,500 it might not be for every day wear and tear in the garden, but it will certainly get some attention when out for a night on the town.

Ben Nighthorse Campbell has been a lifelong creator of great jewelry his most recent creation, The Creation Pendant, continues his award winning ways with a beautiful two sided silver and turquoise pendant.
The front of the pendant features heavenly bodies and the back features petroglyphs and the overall shape is inspired by a 14th century talisman for good luck. You can get yours from the National Museum of the American Indian for $550 with all proceeds going directly to support the museum.
Thanks to the guy over at Luxist for the heads up.

I went out looking for some unique jewelry for our January babies. And I hit on some very cool garnet jewelry for you.
This first piece is from the Antique Jewelry Mall in their Bohemian Garnet jewelry collection. Victorian style designs in blood red garnet always makes for a striking design. There are some Gothic Crosses in there that are simply stunning too.
Morning Glory Jewelry also has some great Bohemian jewelry that I simply love.
And finally, for those of you deep of pocket, we found this collection of antique garnet jewelry over at Lang Antiques. I do love color gemstones.

Looking for that one of a kind ring? Check out Sevan Bicakci.
Sevan specializes in creating one of a kind works of art featuring unusual stone cuts and incredible detail. His art is seen as a revitalization of Byzantine and Ottoman arts in order to create jewelry that reflects the spirit of Istanbul. While the work uses precious materials in its construction, he likes to mix in lots of other types of materials. This way, the jewelry is not worn solely as a demonstration of the wearer’s ability to afford scarce commodities. It is instead a material manifestation of the artist’s vision.
Sevan was also a winner of the 2007 Tanzanite Foundation’s Celebration of Life Jewelry Design Awards. The ring on the left is his winning entry. I just love the dramatic look to his work. Too bad he doesn’t have a decent website with his work on it.

For the girl that has everything, how about a ring box the reminds her of everything leading up to her ring? Euri Inc. has developed a new ring box, the Euricase. The Euricase comes with a built-in 2 inch LCD display screen that can be loaded with 500 pictures or up to 60 minutes of your favorite videos and can be pre-set to play music when the box is opened and an elegant mood light enhances the look of the ring.
Coming in a variety of colors and metallic finishes, the system operates on a lithium rechargeable battery and files can be transfered to the Euricase from a PC via a USB cable. All for about $100 per box. For more information about the Euricase, visit Euricase.com.
A little more of a traditional elegance than a tech geek? Not to fear, Vivian Alexander has a collection of egg shaped jewelry boxes for her. Also coming in a variety of colors and styles, the Vivian Alexander eggs evoke a Fabergé Egg look without the cost. I like the different color gold alloys being used these days. Especially rose gold. The artists at Dall’avo have taken that great rose gold color and combined it with a stark black ebony. The large links make for a great collection of necklaces and bracelets.
Not sure you want to pay the price for these Italian beauties, expected to be around $8,000, don’t worry, I think this is a hot look and we will be seeing it copied soon.

I love art deco. After deconstruction, art deco is my favorite style of design. I was browsing through some new jewelry lines and came across the Deco Art line from Bunz.
Built around clean lines, simple shapes, and stunning color gemstones, this may be my favorite line of the new year. There aren’t too many dealers carrying this line yet, but from what I’ve seen of it we may see more if it at more locations in 2008. Look for it, or even better yet, ask for it.

Fancy satisfying your sweet tooth as well as your craving for some new jewelry? The Chocolate Pearls may be exactly what you are looking for.
Chocolate pearls have been a massive hit this year as the latest attempt to make pearls cooler than that old strand June Cleaver wore every day. You can find them in just about everything these days and at every price point. But like most jewelry, you get what you pay for.
On QVC and the other shopping channels you can get some very nice Chinese produced chocolate pearls. These pearls are mass produced and then dyed to give them that milky brown color. And best of all, they are probably the only jewelry coming out of China that doesn’t have lead in it!
At the other end of the spectrum are the original chocolate pearls. The base for these are top quality Tahitian pearls that are bleached to turn that stunning blue in to the most amazing velvety smooth chocolate look. In either case you simple can’t go wrong by adding some chocolate to your collection this year.
