Storing your necklaces
Your necklaces should be stored so that they remain new looking and secure.
Beaded Necklaces: Beaded necklaces, pearls, and anything made using silk, cotton or even nylon cord, should be stored flat. Over time the cord will stretch and make your necklace look old and worn long before it’s time and require you to have it restrung to return it to that new look.
Metal Necklaces: Metal necklaces can be stored by hanging them in your jewelry box or on a necklace rack. Metal necklaces do not stretch, but be sure to not let them run against each other as this may cause scratches to appear.
